I do not have a favorite movie in particular, but the last film I've seen and liked a lot is El ángel, an argentine and spanish biographical policial drama inspired on the real story life of Carlos Robledo Punch, the most famous serial killer in the criminal history of the neightbour contry. It was directed by Luis Ortega.
In addition, the action of "Carlitos" (interpreted by Lorenzo Ferro) is very convincing, you really believes that he is a sociopath. "El Angel" is the nickname that the press gave to him refer to his "innocent" and "nice" appearance in comparison with his cruel personality.
It exhibited at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival in May and it premiered in August in Argentina. In Chile, the film arrived to the Normandie cinema the last month.
Is very interesting and greatful movie! The stanging is captivating and the soundtrank go with the scenes most breathtaking. The director knew how to captive the violent personality of the protagonist and at the same time it blended with the complex relation with his partner of crime (their relation never had well defined). All that take place in 80's, the height of militar dictaropship, one of the most violent and dark period happened in all Latin America in general. In addition, the action of "Carlitos" (interpreted by Lorenzo Ferro) is very convincing, you really believes that he is a sociopath.
