In first place, I don't watch TV or even Cable TV, and in general I never watched series of USA or UK (in english). However, I watched anime since I was a child, because the Japanese language and culture really interesting me (obviously, no the consumerist and sexism typical of the anime duh).
I don't have a favorite serie (or anime, in this case) but the last anime that I enjoy it so much has been Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin in its original language).
The anime premiered in April of 2013, based in manga write by Hajime Isayama, had a titanic populatiry (lololol) around all the world.
With very good critique review in general, Shingeki no Kyojin was considered the best shounen of the decade. Shounen mean a type of anime that addresses about action and fantasy associated many time to a young masculine public, but the true is that any person can equally watch and enjoy it.
Nevertheless, it doen't recommendable to kids because contain raw and delicate scenes of explicit violence and psychological terror.
If you enjoy the mix of "terror" and "horror", you should watch Shingeki no Kyojin. After all, it's characterized for its post-apocalyptic tragedy argument, in which the protagonist (Eren Jaeger) desire to exterminate all the titans after his city was attacked by them, he oath revenge after seeing his mother die in front of his own eyes.
In addition, the soundtrack and animation are fantastic.

Why Anthropology?

I don't really know.  First, I wanted to study Arts, there were other careers that I liked them, like Psychology, Graphic Desing, Forest engineering and Architecture, but Anthropology appaered as a new way when I was in last year of school. I heard that in this university I could enter to Archeology mention if I studied Anthropology...  So, I remember that when child, my dream was to be Paleontologist, but that career doesn't exist in Chile :( Archeology is the closest to Paleontology that exists here. I finally decided that I would study Anthropology and then Arts. In the year and a half that I've been studying I mean that this career is very nice, I hope to get to Archeology mention next semester.

summer vacations

Oh, summer vacations. My beloved summer vacations! It looks so far away ... I plan to work during January to save money and go on vacation in February, but the last final test is the 10 of January :( I must see how I will organize myself with that, especially at this time of the year where I just want to sleep and rest. I just want to leave university early to relax, but working is important if I want to leave Santiago, so I have to do it anyway, I have to make the last effort haha! During February I would like to travel to the north of Chile, we have a tentative travel plan with some friends about the places we could visit. First go to Antofagasta, since my friend and I have family there. Then we'll visit to San Pedro (we went two years ago and we swear to return!). If everything goes well, we want to cross to Argentina and meet Jujuy! I've always wanted to know the Argentine highlands, and in general I love the Atacama desert. I have only visited coastal areas at the moment...
